The last giveaway I did was with a group of my blogging friends. A few of us decided to have another one to break up the monotony of winter. More details at the end of this post. For now…..
It was a crazy week and I missed writing. There are some thoughts swirling in my heart and as soon as I can catch them and tame them I will share them. Don’t go far. It will be soon. Promise.
I love giveaways. And I still haven’t worked my crafty self out of the Crappy Chic line or the Shabby Shannon gifts, therefore I am giving away a $25 Amazon Gift Card. If you really can’t find three, I will settle for two. If you can’t find two, well, I just don’t know what to do with you. Pretending will be okay.

What a lovely list!
(Picnics(I plan to do many this summer!), corn fields(in July + August they become my life-detasseling), the ocean(its so peaceful and calming!))
and all three remind me of summer!
Thank you for writing so beautifully! I excitedly look forward to reading each post!
Thank you, Hannah!I hate the detasseling part. Someone needs to invent something to make that easier. Your name is in the basket!
What a great list! Lots of things I like in there but you asked for 3 consecutive items, and being a good rule follower, here’s my list – “the idea of chickens, a freshly scrubbed sink, shoes, this blog, date night, large and loud family meals.” I found SIX!
stephaniesmommybrain @gmail.com
Yeah! That’s the longest run so far. 6 in a row. So no actual chickens, just the idea of them? I love all things related to coops and chickens in books and online. I haven’t the strong enough desire to actually do anything about other than pin ideas to Pinterest.
Your lovely name is in the basket!
willow trees, iphone, church
I could sit under my willow tree with my iphone and log onto my church’s page and listen to sermons and music. I love your selection! Name in the basket!
Only one sequence of three? I found a 3 or 4 sequences that spoke to me, but I will go with the first one: daisies, spinach, You’ve Got Mail movie, Yankee candles. Ok, that was four, but I couldn’t leave one out!
Four is excellent! Daisies are the friendliest flowers. (quote from the movie!) Your name is in the basket.
Selah, thrift store shopping, sauerkraut,
I wondered which friend would be the first to grab the sauerkraut! Love you, Linette. So very much. And your name is in the basket.
Cardinals, smell of wood burning, thin crust pizza!
I love your selections!I have a flock of red birds come to my yard everyday. I love them. Thanks for coming by. Your name is in the basket!
Cast iron pans (the best), library (yes!), camping (with my family).
Yes, yes, yes. Your name is in the basket, Susan. Thanks for playing!
Naps, willow trees, iPhone.
Here are five in a row, but so many more I like on your list.
naps, willow trees, iphone, church, mushrooms. Thanks for the giveaway.
You are welcome! Thank you for playing. You are the only one grabbing mushrooms at the end of that sequence! ha. more for us. Your name is in the basket.
Loved so many of the same things. Here’s just one sequence: “looking at scrapbooking items, Instagram, turquoise”. How fun!
Fun times! “corn fields, the ocean, garage sales” Live in Indiana, travel for the middle option, love all three! :c)
I like all of your choices! I should have put clotheslines next to corn fields as they go together in my mind! Your name is added to the basket!
I have two sequences of three: “Thai food, Words With Friends, wind chimes” and ” Yankee candles, sushi and sashimi, tire swings,”
I think we just planned our perfect get together! I am Irishqasherwoman on Words With Friends. Find me. Name in the basket!
This was hard, sister. Really hard. I’d see two…then I’d be like…but do I LOVE my iphone?? I have had every generation there is..but LOVE? Love..like…its hard to tell difference. Thought I was onto something when I saw crocheting, Ireland..then..hammocks. Hmm…I flipped off a hammock when we were children and broke my tailbone. Since then..love is also attached to fear, so that disqualified it as they are so closely intertwined I can’t tell the difference. In the end, I went with turquoise, pontoon rides and cast iron pans. Now..I’m not sure if you meant the stone turquoise or the color. I dont own any of either. But I’ve loved it from a distance so I’m counting it. Pontoon rides…safe enough…and then cast iron pans. I only use them when camping and right now they are tucked away in my new RV which is sitting at a dealership 60 miles away getting serviced.. I could not go out and look at them and confirm my love for them, So I could be mistaken. None of these three things, that I am aware of, have feelings mixed with other emotions, so I’m going to settle on, I believe I love this sequence of three.
Mind bender.
Seriously?
Lays Potato chips and dip, (LOVE chips and dip — though mine are usually accompanied by buttermilk) naps, willow trees
I have never heard of this buttermilk and chips. You drink the buttermilk? and then eat the chips? and your name is in the basket!
Ohhh, great idea!
I love hiking, garage sales, cast iron pans, tacos, Scrabble etc. etc
oh, nice selection!Your name is in the basket, dearie!
Three sequential items that I love from you list? Hmmm …. cardinals (beautiful!), smell of wood burning (as long as I know the source!), and thin crust pizza (or any Chicago pizza – with lots of cheese!)
nice. thank you for coming by. Your lovely Irish name is in the basket.
thrift store shopping, sauerkraut, hiking
Another taker on the sauerkraut! Thanks for playing, Jenny! Name added to the basket!
almond joy, word searches, popcorn, and wheel of fortune
I didn’t know you came here! You made my day. I love your selections. Obviously, you know that. I love that you love the same things. I put your name in the basket! Big hug.
The ocean, garage sales, silver
OR
FRESCA, red couches, Pinterest
I just couldn’t choose!!!
oh, nice ones! Fresca original, right? not that peachy junk. Name in the basket.
Oh Shannon! You make this difficult! I couldn’t decide on which consecutive items I like most, so here goes…..almond joy, word searches, popcorn, Wheel of Fortune, Selah, thrift store shopping – AND – Lays Potato chips and dip, naps, willow trees, iphone, church – AND – picnics, corn fields, the ocean, garage sales – AND – essential oils, hugs, lipstick – AND – clickety-clack of good tea cups and saucers, reading tombstones, crossword puzzles, Gain laundry detergent.
You are hilarious! You know you don’t get extra chances by naming 500 things, right? You are adorable. Thank you for playing. Your name is in the basket.
It’s amazing how much we have in common!
Cardinals, smell of wood burning, thin crust pizza, poetry…I could go on; you love a lot of nice things!
I do, don’t I? I like your selections. The red birds were outside my door today. Against the white snow they are so beautiful. Thanks for coming by! Name is in the basket.
So many lovely things! And so many twos I liked.
But here goes: cast iron pans, a library, camping
Nice! Glad you stopped by! I added your name to the basket!
mangos, feather pillows, waterslides
I reread my list three times looking for these things and then had to laugh! I absolutely should have added those because I love them too! I added your name to the basket!
I didn’t realize they were supposed to be off your list until reading other people’s comments! For the fun of it, here are 3 from your list: herbs, cookbooks, Chopped tv show
Ha, that’s funny. Your list was STILL good! Isn’t chopped the best show? I couldn’t handle the stress. Thanks for coming back!
This is such a fun idea! the only sequence of three that I could find that i really truly love, are:
Old hymns, the color red, Crash Bandicoot.
Thank you! Love it when Crash makes the list! ha. Your name is in the basket!
What a fun idea for a giveaway, and of course you can’t go wrong with an amazazon gift card!
Thank you for offering the opportunity to win!
I found so many things I love on your list…here’s my pick: Black and white pictures, daisies, and spinach!
Nice, Leah! I crave spinach. Thanks for coming by! You are in the basket!
cardinals, smell of wood burning, thin crust pizza,
Crash Bandicoot, books, American History
playing the piano, the idea of chickens, a freshly scrubbed sink,
I found this longer sequence as well….lol wind chimes, covered porches, sound machines, essential oils, hugs, lipstick, Fresca, red couches,
I love that we love so many things together! Nice selections, my friend! I added you to the basket.
Selah, thrift store shopping, sauerkraut !!
Everytime I’d get two in a row, you’d put in something like NASCAR and ruin it!!!
NASCAR doesn’t ruin anything. Remember the thrift store in Destin? I think I wasted money there.
I added your beautiful and precious name to my basket. I may have kissed the paper too.
Hahaha!!! You kissed the paper??
That thrift store… I think we “bought” just to buy. All that stupid wool!! Ha!
Ok, I think I could like your entire list except maybe 5. I won’t tell you the 5 hehe : ) However I will choose the first 5
black and white pictures, daisies, spinach, You’ve Got Mail movie, Yankee candles. I have enjoyed reading your blog. Keep up the good work.
thank you! Your kind words did more for me today than you can possibly know! I added your name to the basket!
I love at least 80% of the things you love, but three consecutively are “naps, willow trees, and old hymns”.
love your blog!
~Jenna
Oops, the consecutive order is naps, willow trees and iPhone. But for the record I love old hymns much more than my iPhone
Ha! I like your choices. In order or out of order! I like that we like old hymns. Big hug, Jenna! I added your name.
let me guess, it was the spinach and mushrooms that threw you off?
Cardinals, smell of wood burning, thin crust pizza
Yeah. I’m there. This screams summer patio with a pizza oven, doesn’t it? I added your name to my wee basket!
black and white pictures, daisies, and camping
Have you heard of ‘glamping’? It’s glorified camping- like where we could take lovely black and white photos, put them on our night table, add a vase of daisies and make our tent look precious. You have picked a lovely selection. Thanks for playing! I added your name.
“Mexican food, McDonald’s french fries, homemade gifts”
What a great list! And a fun giveaway. Thank you for hosting
Oh, Hollie you are welcome! I love watching your little family grow. Thank you for coming by and playing! I added your name!

Mmmm what a creative and fun way to do a giveaway! Love it!!! So, at first I saw so many I do love but couldn’t find three together… the following tho’ just goes to prove that ‘to look again can reveal a new perspective’ =)
Thanks for the cheery winter fun!
Hiking, herbs, cookbooks, Chopped tv show, stationary paper sets…
or… Mexican food, McDonald’s french fries, homemade gifts, playing the piano….

I can’t tell you how many times I have looked up information about growing my own mushrooms. Mostly because I cannot afford to eat them like I want to. I wish you success and please come share with me how it goes! Thank you for coming by. Your name is in the basket. And I drew a mushroom by your name.
“book clubs, girl’s night out, looking at scrapbooking items.” But there are many more of your favorite things that I love! What a fun idea!
Thank you, Laura! I am in my first book club and I love it! And I use to scrapbook. I want to so badly once again. Now I just look at the stuff. I added your name.
LibrAry, kindle, quaint towns.
Lovely selection, Martha. All we need now is a cafe. Blessings! I added your name.
the idea of chickens, a freshly scrubbed sink, shoes
You made this VERY difficult my friend. I mean HOW can you put New York City between mushrooms and a game I never heard of???
This was way fun…gladly sharing.
ah, you like the idea of chickens too? I actually thought of you after I wrote that. don’t be a mushroom hater.
Name added!
homemade gifts, playing the piano, the idea of chickens! Seriously, I laughed out loud when I read that one cause we keep talking like we’re going to get chickens but we still haven’t…it’s almost 5 years already since we moved to the farm :0 So many things on here that I love, too.

oh i love this.. what a fun idea.. there were so many but this one i think is close to the top..
naps, willow trees, iphone
Tire swings, cardinals, smell of wood burning and thin crust pizza….I had to pick my favorite group…there were several
stationary paper sets (oh my! I have so many beautiful ones, this reminds me I need to go write some letters!), fingerless gloves (so practical!), Euchre (I married into this game and have to say i am now the reigning champion. well somedays i am)
And I love this creative post!
No one has picked anything from this group! Whoo hoo! Love that you came by. See you in the morning! teehee I added your name!
So many wonderful things to choose from. Since I live in Illinois, I had to start with corn fields, which are everywhere. Corn fields, the ocean, garage sales, are my three in a row. Not in that order. Garage sales would be first, on my list, I love the ocean and want to smell the salt water and feel the sand between my toes. Sounds like Heaven to me. Now, I have to go back and read all of your blogs. They all sound great. Thank you for a fun way to spend my day! God Bless You.
Thank you for playing, Janet! I hope your enjoy reading. Your name is in the basket!
I just found you through Kateri’s blog . . . I’m looking out the window at the sun refracting off of the snow in a myriad of colors. Beautiful! sun, snow, colors
thank you so much for coming by! I have snow but no sunshine so things are not as colorful or sparkly here. I added your name to the basket!
