Love, Love, Love and a Giveaway!

The last giveaway I did was with a group of my blogging friends. A few of us decided to have another one to break up the monotony of winter. More details at the end of this post. For now…..

It was a crazy week and I missed writing. There are some thoughts swirling in my heart and as soon as I can catch them and tame them I will share them. Don’t go far. It will be soon. Promise.

I love giveaways. And I still haven’t worked my crafty self out of the Crappy Chic line or the Shabby Shannon gifts, therefore I am giving away a $25 Amazon Gift Card.   2. What a great list! Lots of things I like in there but you asked for 3 consecutive items, and being a good rule follower, here’s my list – “the idea of chickens, a freshly scrubbed sink, shoes, this blog, date night, large and loud family meals.” I found SIX! :D

    • Yeah! That’s the longest run so far. 6 in a row. So no actual chickens, just the idea of them? I love all things related to coops and chickens in books and online. I haven’t the strong enough desire to actually do anything about other than pin ideas to Pinterest. :-) Your lovely name is in the basket!

  4. Only one sequence of three? I found a 3 or 4 sequences that spoke to me, but I will go with the first one: daisies, spinach, You’ve Got Mail movie, Yankee candles. Ok, that was four, but I couldn’t leave one out!

  13. This was hard, sister. Really hard. I’d see two…then I’d be like…but do I LOVE my iphone?? I have had every generation there is..but LOVE? Love..like…its hard to tell difference. Thought I was onto something when I saw crocheting, Ireland..then..hammocks. Hmm…I flipped off a hammock when we were children and broke my tailbone. Since then..love is also attached to fear, so that disqualified it as they are so closely intertwined I can’t tell the difference. In the end, I went with turquoise, pontoon rides and cast iron pans. Now..I’m not sure if you meant the stone turquoise or the color. I dont own any of either. But I’ve loved it from a distance so I’m counting it. Pontoon rides…safe enough…and then cast iron pans. I only use them when camping and right now they are tucked away in my new RV which is sitting at a dealership 60 miles away getting serviced.. I could not go out and look at them and confirm my love for them, So I could be mistaken. None of these three things, that I am aware of, have feelings mixed with other emotions, so I’m going to settle on, I believe I love this sequence of three.

I couldn’t decide on which consecutive items I like most, so here goes…..almond joy, word searches, popcorn, Wheel of Fortune, Selah, thrift store shopping – AND – Lays Potato chips and dip, naps, willow trees, iphone, church – AND – picnics, corn fields, the ocean, garage sales – AND – essential oils, hugs, lipstick – AND – clickety-clack of good tea cups and saucers, reading tombstones, crossword puzzles, Gain laundry detergent.

    • Have you heard of ‘glamping’? It’s glorified camping- like where we could take lovely black and white photos, put them on our night table, add a vase of daisies and make our tent look precious. You have picked a lovely selection. Thanks for playing! I added your name.

  40. homemade gifts, playing the piano, the idea of chickens! Seriously, I laughed out loud when I read that one cause we keep talking like we’re going to get chickens but we still haven’t…it’s almost 5 years already since we moved to the farm :0 So many things on here that I love, too.

  49. So many wonderful things to choose from. Since I live in Illinois, I had to start with corn fields, which are everywhere. Corn fields, the ocean, garage sales, are my three in a row. Not in that order. Garage sales would be first, on my list, I love the ocean and want to smell the salt water and feel the sand between my toes. Sounds like Heaven to me. Now, I have to go back and read all of your blogs. They all sound great. Thank you for a fun way to spend my day! God Bless You.
